To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it.

Launched in April 2017, MIX Studio is a new and exciting art pop-up located in the heart of the City of Hamilton, previously hosted at the spacious and modern Bermuda Society of Arts - awarded the Best of Bermuda 2016 by The Bermudian. In December 2017, MIX Studio moved classes to Gallery One Seventeen in order to host monthly Saturday night workshops for adults and provide the perfect venue for private events. Come check us out!

MIX offers hands-on experiences for you to express your "inner artist" while relaxing, sipping and celebrating lasting memories through art - that you get to take home with you!

MIX provides a series of guided arts and crafts workshops open for everybody, with a regular calendar of sessions that will encourage all levels to sign-up, and enjoy a social atmosphere of learning.

The creative process is important for mental and emotional development and gives us a chance to focus and connect with the joy of painting. Our overall mission is to promote and grow participation in the arts community, as well as invite local artists to join MIX as art instructors to inspire visitors to develop their own skills through social painting.

Bella has been drawing and painting for as long as she can remember. Artistry runs in her family with her great-grandfather, grandmother and aunt all being talented artists. Growing up in Canada, Bella spent hours at art galleries and art classes where she developed an immense appreciation for art history, different cultures and beautiful landscapes.

With her entrepreneurial spirit, she was instrumental in the launch and popularity of a paint and sip event company in San Francisco, while throwing over 30 paint parties across the city. In 2017, she set out to launch MIX Studio in Bermuda and create a space for art enthusiasts on the island.

After completing a double-major in Business Management and Multimedia Studies at University of Toronto and Sheridan College, Bella pursued a career in Marketing Communications working with various firms in Toronto, Vancouver and Bermuda, but she has always remained passionate about painting. She hopes to continue spreading her love of creating with others and looks forward to meeting you in one of her workshops.
